Hostal Cruzita

Things to Do

When you aren't flying, Crucita rewards with a slower pace. Stroll along the long sandy beach—either toward the town center or into the natural surroundings—to immerse yourself in nature, local wildlife, and breathtaking scenery. Watch the fishing boats return, then sit at a beachfront restaurant to savor local ceviche and fresh seafood accompanied by excellent Ecuadorian beer.

When conditions are right, there is so much more to enjoy: surfing and kitesurfing, lessons from local champions, sunset walks along the *malecón* (boardwalk), visits to nearby fishing villages and markets, and day trips along the Manabí coast. From July to September, you can go dolphin and whale watching, including boat trips out to sea to witness whales breaching during mating season. Local marine life guardians invite visitors to witness sea turtle hatching ceremonies and the hatchlings' first journey to the ocean. Evenings are perfect for good food, cold drinks, and that famous Pacific sunset.
