Crucita Weather

Crucita enjoys warm, sunny weather for most of the year, with temperatures typically hovering around 28–30°C. The dry season—roughly June through December—brings steady breezes and reliable flying conditions, while the warmer wet season (January to May) brings brief tropical rains (usually at night) and lush green landscapes. Nighttime temperatures don't drop below 25°C, meaning you can live in flipflops and swimwear 24/7, all year round. Forget long trousers, jackets, and unpredictable weather; here, the sun shines every day!

For pilots, the sea breeze usually picks up from late morning through the afternoon—the prime window for soaring. In the afternoon, the wind sometimes becomes too strong for standard paragliders, so we switch to mini-wings, parakites, or kitesurfing. Occasionally, if the wind holds after sunset and conditions allow—thanks to the low tide and a well-lit beach—experienced pilots can even fly after dark. And if a full moon coincides with the flight? It’s an experience you’ll never forget!
